Voice Studio

Private voice training with Broadway performer Diane Phelan

Drawing on more than two decades as a professional performer and nearly a decade of teaching, Diane works with singers to build voices that are strong, expressive, versatile, and reliable.

Her approach combines a classical foundation with practical technique for contemporary musical theatre and pop, including legit singing, mix, belt, and the transitions between them. Just as importantly, technique is always connected to the acting: the goal isn't simply to sing well, but to communicate through the music.

Diane brings to her students the same tools she has used throughout a career performing leading roles on Broadway, across the country, internationally, and as a soloist with symphony orchestras.
